Homeowners, social and private landlords are seeking to improve the energy efficiency of their homes to meet government standards, move towards net zero and reduce the energy bills for residents.
Cenergist is one of the leading providers of low-carbon heating solutions including district heating, ground-source heat pumps, air-source heat pumps and connections to city-wide heat grids. We can advise, design and deliver full turn-key solutions with our patented Control Flow HL2024 technologies providing additional energy and carbon savings.
Through careful planning and coordination, we ensure projects are delivered to plan and specification with minimal disruption to existing residents.
Here are a few examples of our work:
Leeds City Council Clustering For Warmth GSHP Programme
As part of our work with Leeds City Council’s Cluster for Warmth scheme, we have designed and installed ground source heat pump heating and hot water systems to over 1,500 homes, replacing the electric storage heating systems that were expensive to run.
Cenergist have managed every aspect of the project including tenant liaison. Dedicated staff have been on hand to guide residents through every aspect of the process, reducing the impact on council staff responsible for those buildings.
The new heating and hot water system is achieving up to a 44% reduction in the residents’ energy bills.
“The new heating system is great; I can control the temperature in my flat and it’s costing me less too. The lads who fitted it were lovely, it was all done in a couple of days.”
Cardiff City Council
Turnkey design and renewal of five communal heating systems.
We were asked to design and install replacement communal heating systems for a residential estate.
The systems were delivered to time and budget and based on a 24-month study, reduced resident energy bills by over 50%.
London Borough of Islington
Hathersage Court, Islington
Due to structural concerns about the building, London Borough of Islington asked Cenergist to remove the individual gas boilers in each flat and replace with a communal system within 12 months despite COVID-related lockdowns.
Cenergist worked against a hard deadline and successfully designed and installed the new communal heating system in the block, whilst ensuring residents had heating and hot water at all times.
Working closely with the residents and the council the work in each property was completed in a manner that protected both residents and staff from the risk of Covid.
