Cenergist to Decrease Water Consumption and Drive Bill Savings for Residents for United Utilities
Cenergist, a leading water and energy services company, has announced that it has been contracted by water services company, United Utilities, to drive down water consumption in social housing properties in its water service area.
With the UK suffering from climate change effects ,such as water shortages during the warmer months, the nation’s Water Companies are faced with the challenge of reducing water consumption within their customers’ properties. Gaining access to social housing properties has so far been difficult for UK water companies, but Cenergist has helped bridge this relationship thanks to its wide social housing network.
The partnership has not only reduced water consumption within properties, helping United Utilities to meet its PCC reduction targets, but it has also helped those in water and fuel poverty reduce their bills by up to £100 per year.
The partnership has gone from strength to strength, and Cenergist is now the main water saving delivery partner for United Utilities, targeting high consumption properties, saving residents up to 80 litres of water per day.
